My husband made this candle holder a while ago - he blacksmiths for a hobby. I think it looks nice on our staircase .( we have got electricity as well ! )
Lovely shot and the candle holder is really good-looking...candlelight is sets the mood so nicely. And what an interesting hobby your husband has...I gather he has an "outbuilding" where he *plays* with his metals, tools and fires ;-)
It looks really beautiful with the candle glowing on the metal - I didn't check yesterday, so must have missed this one - who needs electricity when you can have this - well, okay, I do, but....
What a beautiful forged candle holder! That's a marvelous hobby your husband has...quite unique! How nice you can display it in your home in this fashion and share it on 365 with us all! (Electric lights are highly over rated when it's romance and charm you're looking for!)
You and your husband are very creative and your old English style home is perfect for showing it all off. I think I told you before that I used to live in a Tudor house in Lowfield Heath in Crawley, West Sussex, when I was a teenager. It was a listed building with an original priest hole that went from the huge walk in fire place upto my bedroom. That quite scared me but the house was amazing. The living room had the original floor so it felt like you were walking uphill when you switched the TV over ha! I love the glow in the photo and it has a lovely gothic feel to it :)
