Wood Anemone.

I took this photo yesterday on a walk with snowy. These wood anemones were like a carpet under the trees. As you can see from the droplets of rain on the flowers we had just had an April shower

They're so beautiful - I love how delicate they are - I took a picture of wood anemones yesterday too when I was out on a walk (I was banished from the kitchen while the boys were cooking!) and would have posted but then I opted for the mother's day picture instead...I might just save it for tomorrow...
