The weather has been so warm this Spring that everything is growing at a t rate of knots, including this field of oilseed rape and my 15 year old grandson, Ed - at 6 feet tall, the only one of us who stood head and shoulders above the crops as we walked the dogs to the ponds to cool down this afternoon. Sorry, not much time to comment this weekend, but will catch up when Helen and family go home on Monday.
I always thought it was the corn that was supposed to be as high as an elephants eye, we went through here the other morning and got soaking wet with dew, and it was up to my short-a..... ears!!
