I went out in the pouring rain to take this picture of the roses in the garden. Now its started raining it won't know when to stop, but I am sure it;s doing the garden good.
@Cherrill I must make sure I don't delete your comment, I meant to reply to Karen who asked the same ?& pressed the delete by mistake . It was Karen who told me about this ....its befunky.com (under painting effect )Btw thank you for the fave
Lovely watercolour effect and a super original composition. Isn't it great what can be achieves now without spending the whole day in the darkroom! A Fave by the way!
Lovely photo and the editing is outstanding...so delicate and pretty! (Thanks for reminding me about befunky...duh....bet you thought I was silly for asking you about the editing!)
And about my dad...unfortunately, news on that front continues to worsen...guess that is why I have not said much. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital on May 29...2 days after his 86th birthday...they were on the way to the Veterans Hospital but changed plans mid way and went to a closer hospital as they didn't think he would make it if they hadn't....was in the hospital for a week and 1/2. They moved him to a nursing home on Wednesday. He will never go home...they discovered he has a staph infection in his blood now...not MRSA but some other bad infection. I guess that is what caused his system to begin shutting down the day they rushed him to the hospital. I am driving to Buffalo tomorrow to relieve my sister and brother for a couple weeks. Thank you for asking. I think I need to get an email address or FB account for you so we can chat more easily ;-) You are so sweet to try keep tabs on him. I appreciate your kind thoughts. KH
@hwy61 Hi karen here is my email address ..dianamoss@live.co,uk so sorry to hear things are not improving ,Ill be thinking of you during this hard time x btw thank you for your 2nd comment
I must again compliment you on your well kept garden...the roses are so gorgeous. and yes we do need the rain..especially the flowers and vegies..my husband is out there watering his new vegetable garden every day as most of it is under the roof overhand and gets no rain.
@hwy61 Karen I read what you wrote to Diana. I wanted to ask how your Dad was doing but did dare too again. I'm so sorry for what has happened, instead of getting better its now worse. now they found out that he has a staph infection..what are his chances??? So glad to hear that you are heading out there to be with him. we'll have to pray harder for him..my thoughts are with dear Karen. please keep me posted if you don't mind writing about it.
@bruni Do you have an email address...that is probable a better way for me to keep you up to date...I really do appreciate your concern! Very difficult time for me...if only he had not had this operation...
BTW, it's on PP, yay!
