Of all the trees that grow so fair,
Old England to adorn,
Greater are none beneath the sun,
Than Oak, and ash, and Thorn.
by Rudyard Kipling
A Tree Song
This tree made me want to climb right up it and rest in the magical place you have captured. I was a huge tree climber as a child. I would sit in the branches and read for hours. This was an instant fave for be for the beauty and for the lovely memories it evoked.
Haven't caught up with your pics lately -probably getting up at different times! Oaks are so reverred her as in England! Planted here 100 years ago, still like this pic!
