Golden petals ...

I had this plant from a friend years ago,it has spread like mad and grows four to five foot high .it makes a lovely splash of colour . I have been looking to see what it is called but it does not seem to be in my A to Z of garden flowers. ??

No idea what it is without seeing the leaves; but it's a lovely bright splash of colour and would look great in the garden.

I see them here all over..but also no idea what they are called. they certainly have a vibrant color.
