Unknown flower?

This is another photo of these flowers , showing more foliage. hope it might make it easier to identify Robin.
We have these in our church yard. I don't know what they are, but they spread and come back every year. Terrific shot Diana.

What a beautiful vantage point and a sky that allowed for the color to pop!

They look like celendines but I can't be sure. Very pretty though

@rosiekind Thank you very much for your comment, these are not celandines unless there is a giant variety ,they are over 5ft high

Have had a good look and can't find them anywhere. I would have said a variety of celandine until you mentioned they are over 5ft high. Maybe you can find out from a local plant shop or nursery. Would love to know if you do get it identified.

Certainly can Diana! Had a clump of these from Mum's garden but they spread so much I dug them all out!! they are a type of Helianthus, the same family as the sunflower. In general Helianthus x multiflorus and then there are different species.......hope you can take it from there. Either google, or do you have the RHS book of garden plants?
