I was standing at the edge of the Caribbean, watching this lone pelican one beautiful morning as he sat on top of the sea, riding the waves. Suddenly, he decided to go for a morning flight, and I was fortunate to have the Nikon pointed right at him as he commenced his take-off procedure.

Superb capture, Danny. He looks like he's walking on water. Your pelicans are so different-looking to ours. I take so many pelican shots it's great to see something unusual to me..
