@monkeykid Thanks, Therese. Our winters are mild - many winter days are sunny here and afternoon temps in the 50 degree range (fahrenheit) are common. Once the sun sets, it gets colder and we have many winter nights in the low 30's or high 20's. We also have some warmer winter days when temps get in the high 60s or even the low 70s - motorcycling weather! It hardly ever snows - maybe a dusting once a season - an inch of snow is a big deal here. But we have had freak snowstorms - a few years ago, we had many inches of snow and the entire area was pretty much shut down for a few days!
@soboy5 That's so cool! our winters are very similar, perhaps a little warmer... we very seldom reach freezing point, and our average winter day is between 70-50 (Fahrenheit. It has never snowed here in Port Elizabeth, though some of the other cities on South Africa do get snow. Our winters don't look so nice though, as almost all the trees here are ever-greens... so we don't really ever get that awesome yellow/orange/brown!
