After leaving the tranquility of Gramercy Park, it was on to Greenwich Village. Once world famous for its artists, musicians and bohemian lifestyle, the Village is now gentrified and full of yuppies. The hipsters fled to Soho, then to TriBeCa, and now are residing in Williamsburg, Bushwick and Greenpoint. But the Village is still a lot of fun and offers great views of the iconic Empire State Building. Best viewed large.
Brilliant shot of the Empire State Bldg among the billowing clouds. Great details viewed large and I like the little crosses on that other structure. Interesting to hear of the changes. No more coffee houses with folk singers in the Village I presume?
Super capture, Danny though i found the dramatic sky is little distracting. So that's one for and one against. On our visit we were a little disappointed not to find Bob Dylan strumming along in a small bar!
