1966 not only saw the Ford Fairlane Squire woody wagon (featured here the last two days) but also the Ford/Shelby AC 427 Cobra, one of the fastest automobiles of its era (a 427 Cobra was clocked at 198 mph). A 7.0 liter high performance Ford V-8 in a 2300 pound sports car results in brutal acceleration. This replica (genuine Cobras are worth millions) looked great in "arrest me red" paint. Note the early 1940's mint green Ford hot rod in the background.
