The 1949-1951 Ford was the first all-new American car introduced since the U.S. entered World War II in 1941. Until this Ford was introduced, all post-war American cars were updates of their pre-war models. This car was very popular and was credited for ushering in the modern era of automobiles, with features such as fully integrated fenders, a ladder-type frame and coil spring suspension. In case you hadn't noticed, I'm doing a Ford mini-series and will continue this for two more days, then I will show the rest of the car show.
Excellent presentation and editing of this super - and historic- auto. Very informative description too, thank you, Danny. Fav. Look forward to the others.
