The 1st generation Ford Thunderbird was a two seat convertible that was sold for 3 model years: 1955-1957. Ford created a new market segment around the T-bird: the personal luxury car. The 2-seater Thunderbirds are very collectible today.
An uncle of mine once had a T-bird. I was young so I don't remember much about it. It mostly sat in his garage and occasionally he'd get it out and wash it. I don't remember seeing him drive it. I do believe it was a two-seater though.
