Sorry I've been MIA for days. Took a trip back "home" to visit my family for the weekend, although the true purpose of my trip was to deliver homemade cupcakes for my mom's book club meeting. She was stressing about getting every detail right and needed some French-themed desserts to wow the group. Everyone seemed pleased with their opera cake cupcakes and madeleine cupcakes with lavender earl gray tea buttercream. Mmm! Too bad they weren't quite as pleased with the book.
