I've looked at this picture probably twenty times and wondered what to say because in some ways, it speaks volumes to me. But I have all these questions, like: are they pain killers? Are they "happy" pills? I work in pharmaceutical sales and a lot of pills go over my desk, and these remind me of a few different kinds of painkillers. So, the question comes to mind....addiction? dependence due to chronic pain, if indeed they are painkillers? Because I can see how certain pills would be some peoples only hope, like you said....but I completely over thought this one and I totally LOVE that you made me think that hard about a picture. Sorry this is long. The picture and the message felt personal to me. I just couldn't pin point exactly which way you were going with it, so I thought I would ask.....in a very long kind of way....hahaha. I hope at least some of this made sense. P.S. I want a pac-man hoodie!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
:) Well, I could say that like most art it's open to your own interpretation, but since you're genuinely curious I'll tell you that I used some of my husband's anti-depressants. The never-ending need for pills to make it through life kind of saddens me, especially as I don't see them as a magical cure-all and I think they bring a host of different problems to the table. It's kind of an issue around my house so I was feeling a little bitter and pissy the day I posted this. Then again, I've never truly experienced depression so I guess I'm not really qualified to talk.
Also, you're not the only person who wondered if they were painkillers so I can see how they would fit the description too.
