I figured it I was going to be doing a cartoon-esque piece for this week's artist challenge in homage to Roy Lichtenstein I might as well pose as one of my favorite comic characters: Death from The Sandman series.
I'm aware this isn't as Lichtenstein-ish as it could be but I'm happy with the results. Next time I'll try starting with a photo with less darkness and shadows so those important dots don't get so washed out.
I love that you try to expand your skills and participate in artist challenges. I should do it too. It's a great photo - a good mix of Lichtenstein and Querry :)
