Prepared to comprehend

"The eye sees only what the mind is prepared to comprehend"
-Henri Bergson

I thought this picture would be totally unusable but managed to find some Picnik editing effects to make it look all spiffy and whatnot. Don't even ask me what I did because I lost track about ten clicks in. And yes, it's slightly blurred/softened on purpose. Believe me; you do not need to see a close-up of my face that hasn't been blurred for your protection.
very cool

something really beautiful happens right at the intersection of the two hands and the way that the "center" they form, offsets the one visible eye. this is a truly beautiful composition, it draws the gaze and makes it hard to look away.

I like what you did with this, Wrinkles. You're stunning so I don't know why you think we wouldn't want to see your face, BUT I like that this shot makes us look closer. Really cool.
