Over the centuries "Ponte Pietra" has suffered numerous collapses, reconstructions and restorations such as the medieval rebuilding wanted in 1298 by Alberto I della Scala who endowed it with two defensive towers on the sides of the bridge (one destroyed in 1801) and decorated it with a stone arch and the emblem of the Scaligeri.
It's a place highly frequented by tourists not only due to its beauty but also because it is located in the oldest part of the city near to other monuments.
I wanted to try this black and white to challenge myself into a type of photography that doesn't belong to me. During the year I will try again.
Thank you. The today's shot is another b&w. Hope you like it.
