searching nooks and crannies

I am always trying to search for different plants along the footpaths we are taking during lock down. Today I spotted this striking blue flower by a storm drain as we went along. Not certain what it is... maybe a columbine.

Aquilegia maybe. Lovely, whatever it is.

@tinley23 Yes indeed. That plant group....I have scoured the wild flower pictures and that is the only one that I have found so far that looks similar.

This small patch of grass by the storm drain contained 4 or 5 flowers that I had not seen elsewhere en route including some sort of marigold, broom and maybe a birds foot trefoil.
