We visited Meadowcroft Rock Shelter, which is the oldest known place of human habitation in North America. No one lived here 'long term,' and it was more of a temporary shelter stopping point for travelers. It has been very well preserved and is still under study by archaeologists, including the first one to start work on it in the 1970s. Such a great tour.
