Pittsburgh Restaurant Week kicked off tonight! We started the celebration with the semiannual Blogger Dinner, held this time at a favorite BYOB restaurant, Kaleidoscope in Lawrenceville. We enjoyed five different entrees 'family style.' Here is the first, the pine-nut crusted salmon. Such flaky, flawless salmon with a great herb aioli. The pine nut crust was wonderful, tasted like just a hint of Christmas tree.
