She's Out

What you can't see in this picture is how cold it was this morning. After I stopped here for a while to take some pictures, I went to work, and oh my god were my hands cold. When the numbness wore off, the pain set in. That was a bit much. That's what I get for sitting in the rocks on the beach before work this time of year.

My hands knew pain last winter when I spent ages watching and photographing an otter at sunset! It was worth it though!

I like the composition of this one very much . . . the sense of movement, the calm, and yes, even the cold! You must get some thin gloves or fingerless gloves or hand warmers at the very least!
