This is taken from the 51st floor of an apartment block that some of my colleagues were staying in during the week in Dubai. I went up to see them and the view was amazing. This doesn't do it justice at all, but the wider shots where you see more of the marina were all too blurry. I should have used my tripod but I didn't have long to snap before leaving.
I can honestly say it made me suffer a little, from vertigo. It was strange as I don't normally feel it, but the open balcony of the apartment felt very strange. The weirdest thing was looking across to the taller buildings across from this one. Looking up even higher made me feel very weird. But it was cool to go up there. I may try and organise my own accommodation like this if I go back to work in Dubai again. The photo opportunities are awesome!
I would NEVER, I mean EVER, go outside that balcony for this shot. I feel horribly sick , I´m so afraid of heights. Glad there are brave guys like you to show us these incredible views from up there lol Thanks for sharing. This is gorgeous!
