Day 048, Year 4 - Can't See The Wood For The Trees
I had taken Alexis to her grandparents' before she headed home to the south coast, and on the way back to Norfolk I decided to stop and get a shot in the woods near Thetford, just off the A11. I love the pine trees there, and thought I'd try do something with me in it. I liked the idea of scale and trying to make me look small but with the ultra wide lens I looked almost invisible. I originally shot this very close to the trees looking up, and then edited the picture by cropping in and adjusting the verticles from leaning inward at around 45 degrees, to show them as straight lines. By using the ultra-wide lens and then adjusting the verticles it meant I could get more in the frame. I am sure if I walked backwards and used a longer lens it would have the same effect but hey-ho :)
3 good things:
1 - A nice journey with Alexis to her grandparents
2 - Feeling very positive after having my palms read by one of the UK's (and possibly world's) leading chirologists
3 - Dinner in the evening with good friends of mine
