Day 049, Year 4 - Grey Gorleston

Best viewed large, on black if you have time :)

Another day getting up early to capture the sunrise, but arrived at the beach with nothing but flat, grey cloud cover.

I stuck the Lee BigStopper ND filter on the front of the lens and grabbed some frames, trying to get something as minimal as possible.

3 good things:

1 - A good run along the seafront after a few day's off from it
2 - Egg for breakfast after my run
3 - As I write this, looking forward to dinner this evening in Norwich
grey cloud cover brought to bare mists of days standards. works for dinner.

Yes - better than gaudy orange! (Tho gaudy orange holds the promise of something a bit warmer!)

@pasttheirprime Not too much...desaturated colours, then added a little clarity, and a little bit of texture using the paintbrush tool in CameraRaw. Then a tweak of the contrast to get whites and blacks a bit punchier. :)
