This is a filler shot, taken on a day when I travelled from home to my work base and was delayed by 5 hours. I left at 6.30am and didn't get there till 2.30pm when I should have arrived before 10am.
I had my camera next to me so took a few shots of what was my view for 4 hours, as I knew that there wouldn't be many chances later in the day.
3 good things:
1 - Getting to the toilet and buying a coffee at the services after 8 hours stuck in traffic
2 - Finding my colleagues had done most of the work in my absence which saved a load of time
3 - Drinks and dinner with colleagues in Chiswick that evening
Steve, this shot really captures the frustration of traffic. Seattle has horrible traffic most of the time and it can drive you crazy. I look at your photo and I can almost feel my chest tightening so, well done. But now i'm going to move on to your next shot.
..and you still found 3 good things. Impressive. Great stuck in traffic capture. it illustrates that hemmed in feeling of being surrounded by lorries and you have made it into a dramatic scene. Four hours looking at that!
