Day 107, Year 4 - Quick Capture In Cambridgeshire

Taken on a journey back from West Bromwich home after working on the football during the day.

This is just off the A14 in Cambridgeshire going from west to east, and it;s amazing what a polariser can do to the light. It was already very nice and blue but with a little changing of the direction of light using the filter on the front of the lens, it made the colours really stand out. Of course I have added a very small amount of Vibrance in post but most of the magic is being done by the polariser.

3 good things:

1 - Lovely weather during the day while working at West Brom
2 - Great journey home watching as the clouds and light changed from the Midlands back to Norfolk
3 - Catching up on my favourite podcast in the car
Yellow fields are my favourite i smile everytime i see one :)

This is so lovely it looks like a postcard. Wonderful to know these places really do exist outside of movie theaters.

I know rapeseed is a scourge, but it does look so spectacular against a blue sky like here! I should use a polariser more, it's in the bag so no excuse!

@michelle79 @daweenie @kategoring @jackie8 @leananiemand @maryswartz @izzyromilly @cmp Thank you all. I love the rape-seed even though it's quite unpopular. The yellow colour it produces every year is a lovely start to the warmer months!
