Day 108, Year 4 - Blue Skies Over Brograve

This is Brograve Mill, an old mill on the Norfolk Broads near Sea Palling, north of Great Yarmouth. I went with my family on the is particular day last month for a morning boat ride out of Martham to celebrate my Dad's birthday. Lovely weather, a picnic on board followed by a birthday lunch at home all made for a lovely day with the family.

3 good things:

1 - Great being back on a boat on the Norfolk Broads
2 - Birthday lunch of sausage, egg and chips
3 - A good run later that day
I love Norfolk and we have stayed in the cottages at Martham Boat yard and took a similar picture in January last year, it looks better with the nice blue sky in your picture.

I've got a picture of this too, from a workshop I went on last year! Fabulous old mill and great contrast against the blue sky and puffy clouds Steve.

@colinbarber013 The cottages looked like they would make a great holiday location! Like your version of the mill.

@jackie8 @leananiemand @izzyromilly @frankhymus @cherrymartina @777margo Thank you all!
And don't worry about the mill...most of the mills around here are disused so it's fairly normal to see them like this. I think they have a lot of character like this.

@stevecameras thank you for the kind comments about my picture and yes I can highly recommend staying at Martham Boat Yard.
