A quick snap taken during the boxing at the O2 on the 10th of September between Kell Brook and Gennady Golovkin, while working for HBO. It was a good day and the fight was over after Kell Brook's team literally threw in the towel.
I am not a huge fan of boxing but I really like covering it for TV, as well as cage fighting too. Brutal for my tastes but the coverage is always fun to do.
3 good things:
1 - A nice late start for work at the O2
2 - Great fun covering the boxing and working with the American's
3 - The feeling of finally getting home to Norfolk after a very late finish and the drive home, including half an hour's kip by the side of the road
It's funny that despite all the lights and the centre ring, the thing I notice most is all the empty seats.
You do get to shoot some interesting events. :)
