I think what I love so much about a good Irish Pub is the colors. The room is usually fairly dark with dark wood and a dark ceiling and floor but there in the middle of the bar is COLOR! Beautiful, bright color with all the reflections in the glass bouncing around.
Thanks for your comment on my ginger flowers.
I had to ask if they were real when I first saw them as they looked like wax.
I was told there were many, many varieties of the ginger plant, so I learnt something that day too.
I have more photos, but have not uploaded them to shutterfly yet!
What a lot of variety there is in this world for taking pictures! I've noticed, too, the colors and glass reflections at a bar, but haven't thought to take a picture yet. This looks good.
I loved reading your comment about SoCa vs NS because I can see you understand *exactly* what I'm talking about! OC, you drive down the street, press the garage button, dissapear inside, not to be seen again until you're in the car and out with the masses once more! Here, we greet neighbors walking down the street wherever we go! No one meets a stranger and everyone waves! I love that you've experienced both worlds; you really "get it"! I'm so glad we came across one another!
