Coast Brewery

A wonderful thing has happened in South Carolina. A new law was passed last week allowing microbreweries to sample and sell what they brew. They couldn't do that before. Yesterday Coast Brewing Co. in Charleston opened for tours and sampling. I tried the new Blackbeerd which was aged in whiskey bottles for 7 months. It is a stout (like Guinness) and was the best ever! I am so happy for the folks there - maybe their business will grow now. Their products are great! And I had such a good time taking pictures!
Great shot!! their labels are gorgeous! and it sounds delicious!!

I really like all these colours together. (: (One step farther away from prohibition days, yes? haha)

I always loved labels like that to use in mixed media collages! Starbucks was always generous... I can see why they attracted you for a photo!

I don't understand though...what did the microbreweries do before they could sell what they made? (as in, what was the point and for whom?) (Does my question make sense?) Microbreweries I've been to in CA and up here seem quite popular with their samplers and unique brews.

This shot is great! I am a beer lover and I love trying out the local brews when I go on vacation.

Gorgeous colors, Suzie. Thanks for your compliment on my Father's Day collage. They must have already changed the popular page. I don't see my picture. But thanks for telling me!
