Kirby woke me early yesterday and announced that we were going to the park for breakfast. He cooked up some sausage and eggs and loaded up his backpack. This beautiful park, Palmetto Isle, is only about 8 minutes away so the drive was short. We found a parking place easily as it was only 8 AM, walked the lovely trails and found our spot at a single table overlooking the river. It was so peaceful and I had all that time to take pictures. I was in photographer's heaven!
I can see why you were "in heaven", Suzie. That is seriously picture-postcard pretty. The greens are SO green, you must have had a lot of rain? Beautiful picture!
Wanted: A true romantic just like Kirby. Send him to Richmond, Virginia. It wouldn't hurt if he could support me in the way to which I would like to become accustomed....haha
This is a wonderful shot, Suzie and what a wonderful, relaxing way to start your day!
I just got home from a long weekend away, and when I saw this shot I KNEW it was on the popular page, sure enough, right where it belongs on the popular page!! Kirby gets a gold star. What a guy!
Now don't anyone get the idea that Kirby is a romantic where I am concerned. He is a romantic but it is for the water, the view, the walk on the trails. Very different! But I love that!
WOW -- it looks like a little bit of heaven.
What a great story about your husband making breakfast bringing you here to eat it......perhaps, he is a "keeper".........lol
