I was the team captain for my company this year to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. We had a cook-out, a Real Men Wear Pink Pageant, a Silent Auction and we raced. All in all we raised over $5,000!! I am so proud of my company and the people who helped us achieve this milestone!
On race day there was more traffic than most people anticipated so many, many were late and didn't get in this picture. But at 8:30 AM we were off! No, I didn't run....I did the fun walk with my daughter and some of my team. We had some young people who raced the 5K which was about an hour later. That is me in the blue shirt in the middle!
