This is not a wonderful, awesome photo but it does tell a story. In 1805, Lewis and Clark stood upon that mountain and drew out a map of the area where the Jefferson River, the Madison River and the Gallitin River all converge and form the Missouri River. Also with them was Sacajawea, the young indian woman who traveled with them.
Great looking mountain and nice piece of history. Thanks for visiting my sunrise.
