I know that because I live in Southern Arizona I should be able to grow flowers all winter. So far my Marigolds have done beautifully but nothing else is thriving yet. I am crossing my fingers. This is my first whole season living here - I am not working now and I am in a home, not on a boat or in an RV. Life is Good!
@olivetreeann Yes, Ann, I am loving my home. It is very small and not at all fancy but I find such pleasure in a complete kitchen, a toilet that flushes with a flip of a lever and lots of heat in the winter and cool in the summer! My husband still misses the boat - I only miss the wonderful adventure, not the spartan lifestyle!
