Cactus

This is what I see the most on my morning walks. That is pretty much all that grows here. I do love them. I have saved some volunteers that I found almost dead and they are growing beautifully now.
You and I, we both started this journey in 2010. time flies. now being in our 8th year I've slowed down a bit. the winters are so cold and I hardly go outside. photo shoots are by driving and stopping when I see a photo op.
Your cactus picture does look nice, even when it looks prickly.

@bruni Yes, not as young as we used to be. You have the hard winters and I have hard summers. We don't go outside much in the summer as it is always over 106F and about 89 when we get up in the morning. Just the opposite problem! Hope you warm up soon!

And I bet they're every bit as sharp as they look! How nice to see you posting again - I thought I recognized the name when you left a comment. Welcome back.

Nice macro of the cactus. Last time I was in Arizona (Tucson) I was taking a photo and managed to back into a cactus--Ouch! Will try not to do that again!
