Purple Jacaranda

Word of the Day is Purple. This lovely tree is the only jacaranda tree in the neighborhood that I have seen and it was blooming over a waterfall and colorful flowers. It is from my favorite yard on my walk!

@suelbiz47 Sue, we had lots of them in So Cal when I lived there but I hadn't seen them here. I love them even if they do make a mess when the blossoms fall.

@ludwigsdiana I am beginning to think that where you live in SA is very similar to Southern California on our west coast. I used to see them all of the time there. They would line the streets and when they bloomed it was magnificent!
