Seed Pods

When a lovely Sago Palm offered me these seed pods, I just couldn't say, No! I am not sure what I will do with them, maybe just look at them. They are pretty cool aren't they?
They are very pretty and unusual.

What is sago..something you make a pudding of? I never liked sago, but if these are seed pods, they look interesting. to pls let us know what you'll make of it.

If you google an image you will see what the plant looks like. There are male and female and my pods came from a female. I don't think they will grow in the desert but I might try one anyway just for the fun of it.
