Our friends, Steve and Mollie, flew into Halifax while we were still in Mader's Cove. We rented a car and drove up to get them. After a huge shopping spree at Costco we made a stop at Peggy's Cove just south of Halifax. I have a couple of really good pictures - this is the first. It is a breathtaking spot that I will never forget.
I've decicded you could just write identical commentary for me! "Pick up folks at the airport...1st stop Costco to load up the car...take everyone to visit Peggy's Cove..." Yep, it's only amazing that we haven't tripped over one another!
Of course I don't think you can get a bad picture in Peggy's Cove! I love the "blue-water" days, and I hope you'll have one of the Lighthouse post office... If not, I might have to get one to share...we'll be by there a number of times this summer (see itinerary above!)
Beautiful photo! I've always wanted to go to Peggy's Cove, I remember when there was a Canadian contest to identify specific towns in the nation and Peggy's Cove was one of the towns.
