Was really struggling for a picture today... Battery was dead in my camera, had nothing so far....then this interesting guy sits down in front of me... All that was left was the iPad on my lap. so this is the result...
@christinehosey Thanks Christine, I've used it for a couple of shots so far, can't seem to zoom or adjust anything, although I probably just haven't worked that out yet!
@streats I just figured out how to zoom and spot expose! Just use your fingers to pull or expand the screen and a little zoom slider appears and just tap on the screen which bit you want to spot meter! Easy lol
I use my ipad for all photos and great apps like PicJoiner, VintaFrame, InstaframePro, XnRetro, Snapseed, WRDIT - all worth looking at and free except Pro
This is great Ian. I particularly like your processing which suits the gritty urban background (somewhere in the Barbican??) I wonder if he did know you were taking it as he seems to be trying to flex his muscles a bit as many men seem to do when a camera is pointed their way!!!!!!
@sbolden Thanks Scott, I've had that scenario of a photo simply appearing a few times now in this project, it's part of the whole process that I'm enjoying, a new way of looking at the world around us!
@savannah51 Thanks Sharon, he seemed so engrossed, and fortunately the ipad is a discreet thing to use in this sort of scenario. I wonder if he would like the photo if he were to see it, I think he looks quite cool.
@dalboy I find mine invaluable, I do all my processing on it, bought a gadget to plug in SD cards to and then plug that straight into the ipad and all your pics are there. Plus it's a handy emergency camera at times !
@tillycarter Thanks Krista, it's pretty much a last resort but the quality is decent, just not much control on it. I use a combination of two ipad apps to process all my shots, photoshop express and snapseed.
@paulaw Thanks Paula, yes, it's another Barbican shot, I love the place for photography and it's very close to my office so it's easy to get to. I'm building quite a collection of shots from there now (see today too!). I think he was fairly engrossed so he didn't seem to notice, but you could be right haha !
