This is "Guardian Angel", not the most striking Hosta around our yard yet, but may well be some day when the clump fills in. The leaves are tall and sturdy and have amazing blue green margins (the outer edge, in hosta jargon). They are thick and slightly corrugated and are not so attractive to slugs. This particular leaf is slightly tattered, possibly from the dogs playing around, but is still very cool because it is home to a spider and also, it has a pine cone embedded in it. This is only my second Hosta pic in my 365 album. If you'd asked me at the beginning of the project I'd have guessed at about 15 by this point ... I'm doing well. ;-)
Many, many thanks for dropping by and for your input.
very cool shot, my hostas are all brown from the several weeks of extreme upper 90's to 100's they are in the shade most all day but the little that was hit by the sun they turned brown as card board!!!
