The sun is rising on a little house that my sister-in-law carved for me. It normally sits in a place of honour inside but for this morning, I was so happy to see the sun, I took it outside to show it off in the 'sunny' woods. It stands about 8" tall. I think I saw some elves checking it out while I was getting ready to take the pic.
Oh my gosh, Anne. This is beautiful against the snow! And that carving is amazing. She does gorgeous work . .and so do you taking this wonderful photo.
Wow, this is simply beautiful in every way. Your sister-in-law is incredibly talented. I'm pretty sure elves would definitely be drawn to this house. You'd better bring it inside quickly or they might steal it!
My, this carving is so intricate and absolutely lovely. I really like how you added it to the fabulous wintery scene....good job, Anne, and may I add that you have a very talented sis-in-law!
Very nice carving, and it looks right at home in this new outside setting. You are thinking elves, and I'm thinking birds. Either way, what a wonderful piece of art and a nice tribute to your sister-in-law.
