Busy days these days so just another little narcissus [daffodil] for you.
I have several clumps of daffs that didn't have a single bloom this year. In one grouping, there are leaves from 25 bulbs and other years there would have been a dozen or so blooms --- this year, not one! I don't know what that's all about.

Stunning Capture! Love the softness and colors in this pic! Yes, I agree - what's with the daffs - not many bloomed here either. I have had years where I pick 4 to 5 dozen and hardly put a dent in them. They are a favorite for bouquets for home bound and friends n family!
What a beautiful daffodil. I'm a bit obsessed looking at daffodil photos right now as I'm trying to decide what variety I'd like in the new bed I'm making. Sorry that you had big clumps with no blooms. You think it's the crazy weather this spring??
I was just talking to my mom yesterday ( she's in Minden) and the same with her daffs! Also my tulip leaves have all come up with no blooms. That's what happens when we have the crazy roller coaster weather we had this spring!
@carmichaelbev no, the green leaves all came up, just no blooms. i'm wondering if the extreme warm March had anything to do with it? Maybe they started growing too early during the heat wave, then suffered in the subsequent cold?
