Last Year's Splurge

This is one of my brand new tulips, from bulbs I planted last fall. This shot was taken this morning just as they were opening. We're having an amazing day weather wise and they're fully open now.

@lynnb thanks, lynn! no, not compared to what we're used to in this part of the country - waves of them all over the place. i just have two little clumps of about 8 each. i'll probably post a pic of them tomorrow
