Hen&Chick by sunnygreenwood

Hen&Chick

Usually Sempervivum [Hen&Chicks] spread by sprouting "chicks" around the perimeter of the main part of the plant. However, when they get mature and cramped enough, they grow beautiful flowers and you can grow new plants from the seeds. I haven't actually tried that .. but that's what I read ... lol! Maybe I'll do it the old fashioned way and sprinkle the seeds in a pot and just leave it tucked away in the garden and see what happens.

Many thanks for dropping by. Hope all my Canadian friends are having a super long weekend. Happy Canada Day!

Btw, the pinkish background is real, not edited. It's some pink and green hen&chicks and a pinky brown planting container.
wonderful shot, i like this image, color , and flower

That is very pretty! My hens and chicks are putting up a huge phallic symbol! No kidding..do they do this before the flowers? It looks so rude I want to take it down!
