There's nothing special about this bloom, either in colour or rarity --- it's just the very first time I've taken a half decent pic of a regular old Geranium in decades!
So lovely ...love the shades and tones and depth of this one. I agree with your comment and it makes me wonder why they are so difficult to capture. I've tried geraniums before and they come out flat and seem to have no texture. But the truth is that they are beautiful ... you really caught it here! Fantastic capture.
