Harriette by sunnygreenwood

Harriette

She flits back and forth between the railing and the tree, stashing sunflower seeds in the bark. There's a good view of the all-white outer tail feather, a clue that she is a Hairy rather than a Downy Woodpecker. The best clue is her relative size - Hairys are larger but sometimes it's hard to judge if you don't have anything for comparison.

Many thanks for dropping by.
Great capture, would she like to date my Harry?

That's a smart bird. She knows you are running a thriving business and she is not taking any chances of running out of snacks.
