Christmas Bells by sunnygreenwood

Christmas Bells

We have a light snow falling this morning and more birds than ever on the deck. I'll give you break from pics of them and instead, focus on some Christmas ornaments. This is one of a couple of precious pearl bells that hang on the banister garland. They were hand made by my sister, Doris. She lost her battle with cancer almost 25 years ago.

Many thanks for dropping by.

Lovely picture. Bittersweet the way things outlive people. I remember keeping a nightgown for years because my grandma has worn it.

Oh, such a beautiful treasure. I know how special that must be to you. And I know the pain of losing a sibling far too soon. My oldest brother, David, lost his cancer fight nine years ago.
