I planted some marigolds this year for the first time in a while. There's very little left in the garden but at least these are still showing a bit of colour. The petals almost looked like shiny plastic in the rain.
I love marigolds, and my favourites are the little French ones with a mixture of rusts and reds and golds, in fact, the kind in your picture. I even like the smell of them, though i know many people don't.
