Not only are six year olds pretty good at picking the perfect Christmas tree, they are great at sawing them down too. The only down side of the whole thing was how my camera and very cold fingers dealt with the harsh late afternoon light. Shadows in all the wrong places.

How fun to get a fresh Christmas tree! Looks like you barely have snow there? We just received an additional 15 cm to our existing snow banks. Definitely a white Christmas for us this year.
